Privacy Policy
Within is a private camera app built to keep your captures on your device. This policy explains how data is handled inside the app.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal information, analytics, or usage data for tracking. We do not create accounts.
Third-Party Services
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase details and device or app identifiers to provide the service. RevenueCat does not receive your photos or videos. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy .
Local-Only Storage
Photos and videos you capture are stored only on your device, inside the app. We do not upload, sync, or back up your media to any server or cloud service.
Exporting and Sharing
Exporting is always manual. When you choose Export, the app opens the iOS share sheet so you can save to Photos or share elsewhere. Nothing leaves the app unless you explicitly export it.
Permissions We Use
- Camera: to capture photos and videos inside the app.
- Microphone: to record audio for videos you capture.
- Face ID / Touch ID or PIN: to lock and unlock the app.
- Local storage: to save your media on-device.
- Photos (Add Only): to save media to Photos when you choose to export.
